I'm really nervous. Is that normal?
Absolutely! It is normal to be nervous before and during your boudoir session, especially if this is your first one, so don't worry. Most clients are nervous at first until the session has gone on for a few minutes. After we start, you’ll begin to loosen up and I'll do everything I can to make you feel comfortable.
I am not a model; Do I need to know how to pose?
Most of my clients aren't models. They are everyday women, like you, so don’t worry about posing. I've totally got you! No one comes in knowing how but they all leave with amazing images. I'll work with you to create the most flattering angles, no matter what shape or size you are.
How much will this cost?
The full experience starts at $395.  I'll be with you every step of the way to make sure you have wonderful experience and you get exactly what you want. The average client spends anywhere from $1,500 to $4,000 on their collection* and products. It's not cheap but keep in mind, this is an investment in yourself... and don't you deserve that!
**We donate 5% of your album purchase to your choice of either:   1)  Futures without Violence   2) OutRight Action International   Or an organization of your choice.
The price is over my budget. Do you have a pricing plan?
Absolutely — we don’t want price to get in the way of indulging yourself! We currently offer PayPal Credit but we can definitely discuss a payment plan that suits your needs and budget. Keep in mind that your images and products will not be delivered until the receipt of final payment.
Where would we do the shoot?
You have your choice of an Airbnb*,* hotel**, or your home. Anywhere inside or outside, as long as it's your property or at a private location, secluded from prying eyes in order to protect both you and me.. The shoot can take place in your bedroom, master bath, kitchen, living room, balcony, porch, terrace, pool or nature... wherever creativity takes us and the weather is tolerable. As long as you are comfortable with your surrounding.
* *You will need to make reservation and provide confirmation prior to shoot date.
I live in _____ city, can you fly out here and shoot me?
The short answer is yes, however it will cost you. I am based out of Yorktown, VA and there are travel fees for outside of York county. In New York and Tampa Florida I have lodging taken care of by family I want to visit anyway, however for other cities or states there would be a lodging fee as well.
Do you offer hair and makeup?
Unfortunately, after COVID, this is no longer a service I provide.  I welcome you to arrange your own HMUA to meet you and you can relax with a complementary bottle of water, glass of wine or champagne and get to know me better before your session.
Can I see my photos before I place an order?
Absolutely! After your shoot we’ll arrange a reveal date, where we get together again to view your images, then we’ll discuss product options (fine art album, luxury metallic wall print, etc.). Once you’ve ordered what you want, it will take about two weeks to completely edit the images, do some minor retouching, and create your product. Then another two to three weeks for your products to arrive.
What should I bring to my boudoir session?
I suggest having as many different outfits with you and we’ll go through them together to pick combinations that will make you look amazing. Your session will take about 4-5 hours, just enough time for up to 3 or 4 outfits with various looks. I will send a guide on what to bring, how to prep, and what you will need to think about once we've booked your shoot.
What if I want an Erotica or Kink session?
On top of all the normal lingerie, shoes, jewelry, etc., I suggest bringing anything you want, sex toys, rope, bondage, or kink items. Bring it all because we will go over everything and prior to the shoot, to be sure to put on the contract exactly what we plan to use, do, and experience during your session so that we have a CLEAR plan laid out with an understanding that keeps a safe space and giving me the ability to create the best art possible! It's best to set up a consultation so we can chat more in depth if this is what you are truly looking for. This is not everyone's cup of tea and that's OK!
Art? Isn't that just porn?
Actually NO! Pornography is designed and intended to, facilitate arousal. Art is intended to be appreciated primarily and solely for it's imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content. I create something that stands on its own beauty, if you find it hot - that's an added bonus. I also use my photography to convey mood, feeling, and emotions. This is independent of the subject matter. Boudoir and Erotic art just happens to be, on occasion, visually explicit and is first, and foremost, created to be art.
Can I bring a friend?
This is a very personal and private experience. The choice to bring someone is entirely up to you and I welcome a friend as long as they help you to relax and promote a positivity. The caveat, I want to ensure you are comfortable, have the best experience possible, that they are there to be supportive and not interfere with the process or your experience.
Do you do touch-ups? Do you use Photoshop?
Yes, I do some basic retouching and slight Photoshop work to enhance your portraits but because I believe in showing the real you, it is only minimal. And to be honest, what’s the point? Excessive retouching and Photoshop makes people look fake and you are not fake.
Will my images be online?
The long and short of it, only if you agree to it.  I will have you look over a contract and model release that maps everything out for you. You'll have a chance to decide what images I can share online. I'll always respect your wishes and won't post or share anything you’d prefer to stay private.
